Multiple Post Doc positions in Quantum Photonics

We currently have the following positions open for applications:

(1) A 2-year Experimental Post-Doctoral Research Associate position is available, under the supervision of Cristian Bonato.
The goal is to develop SiC quantum devices for quantum networking, integrating spintronic, electronic and photonic functionalities on the same chip. The ideal candidate will have experience in both quantum technology and nano-fabrication.

(2) A 2-year Experimental Post-Doctoral Research Associate position is available under the supervision of Dr Margherita Mazzera, in the framework of a recently funded EPSRC project.
The main goal is to develop novel platforms for integrated quantum devices based on stoichiometric rare-earth ions crystals. The project will be developed in collaboration with leading European groups in the fields of crystal growth, theoretical description of coherent light-matter interaction protocols, and laser micromachining.

(3) A 2-year Experimental Post-Doctoral Research Associate position is available under the supervision of Dr Margherita Mazzera, in the framework of the recently funded FET-Open project QUROPE.
Its ambitious goal is to build a quantum repeater architecture using on-demand photonic entanglement (find out more at https://www.qurope-team.eu/ or https://twitter.com/qurope_eu). The quantum photonic lab is a partner of the QUROPE consortium and will be working to develop a broadband solid-state quantum memory for telecom photons with rare earth doped crystals.
