Was Einstein wrong on Quantum Physics? The EPR paradox !

I do not like it, and I am sorry I ever had anything to do with it
-Erwin Schrödinger

einstein photoAlbert Einstein together with Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen raised a paradox in 1935 in the form of a thought experiment or Gedankenexperiment.  This paradox, which popularly became the EPR paradox, raised fundamental questions on the completeness of quantum physics. Although this may appear as a failure of a great mind like Einstein to understand quantum physics, this ‘doubt’ in fact initiated a series of experiments after an article from David Bohm in 1951 and later by John Bell in 1964. All such experiments to date prove that quantum mechanics is complete and correct. Hence, no hidden quantity (variable) is to be known as suggested by Einstein in the EPR paradox. The ideas of quantum physics boggled not just Einstein, but a whole lot of Nobel laureates and common people.
